Project-Based Learning Workshops
The two-week project based learning (PBL) training program consisted of daily workshop training that helped train English language teachers and assessment specialists in ways to incorporate the Communicative Language Teaching (CLT) method. Training focused on shifting from a didactic classroom instructional method and teacher centered approach to an active learning model. The train-the trainer workshops required instructors and assessment coordinators to apply the new method working together on team projects as a way to get a feeling for the challenges learners would face when implementing a more communicative way of learning English in class.
